Biography

I work in the Mitochondrial Research Group based at the Institute of Genetic Medicine. Working under Patrick Chinnery I oversee the research activities of the Genomics cross-cutting theme; part of the NIHR funded Biomedical Research Centre in Ageing.

I have over 5 years commercial experience in the application of next generation sequencing technologies, working with clients in diagnostic, academic, government and commercial sectors. My previous research experience is primarily cancer related with crossover into DNA repair, epigenetics, epidemiology, biomarkers and chemoprevention.
