The largest international conference on mitochondrial disease, Euromit, will be taking place exactly one year from today! The meeting will be held from 14–17th June 2020 in NewcastleGateshead.
Centre was established to integrate basic and clinical mitochondrial disease
research and to train young researchers.
Taking place at the iconic Sage Gateshead and hosted by the Wellcome Centre for Mitochondrial Research (WCMR), Newcastle University and Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NuTH), Euromit is expected to attract over 650 clinicians and scientists from across the world.
four-day event will host talks from globally renowned experts in the
mitochondrial field, which is the study of mitochondria needed for energy
production within the human body.
